Worst Dressed: Oscars Edition

Helen Hunt
Designer: H&M
Whats Wrong: Its the Oscars.... and H&M. And its wrinkly. Maybe you shouldn't have spent $700,000 on your necklace and put $1,000 into your gown

Brandi Glanville
Designer: N/A
What's Wrong: Its pretty easy to tell. Doesn't fit!!! Put the girls away!

 Kerry Washington
Designer: Miu Miu
What's Wrong: I'm simply just disappointed, she's normally best dressed!

 Anne Hathaway
Designer: Prada
What's Wrong: I feel like this is straight out of the 90's. Its boring, pale pink satin. I also don't like the darts on the dress on the breast part. Disappointed in her choice!

Kristen Stewart
Designer: Reem Acra
What's Wrong: It's not the gown, its her in the gown! It isn't fitted as tightly as it needs to be to accentuate her waist and she doesn't know how to pose in it!

 Jennifer Anniston
Designer: Valentino
What's Wrong: The style is meant for someone much younger, again she also doesn't know how to pose. The pose makes a massive difference!

 Halle Berry
Designer: Versace
What's Wrong: Its the shoulders. The bottom and middle of the dress doesn't bother me, the top just makes her look way too boxy! Also doesn't photograph well!

Grammy Awards: Worst Dressed

Kimbra in Jaime Lee Major
Whats Wrong: What is right?
J. Lo in Anthony Vaccarello with Tom Ford Shoes
What's Wrong: Let's be honest, her vajayjay is about to pop out. But hot shoes!!!

Hunter Hayes
What's Wrong: He's in legit sparkles. Sparkles people! Which then makes it look cheap.
Esperanza Spalding
What's Wrong: If she didn't have the cape, this might've actually worked
Jay Manuel in Alexander McQueen found here
What's Wrong: The fact that he did the print on BOTH the jacket and pants. Philip Sweet of Little Big Town wore this jacket to the ACA's in Dec. 2012 here. I love the jacket, but with the pants it is simply too much
Lisa D'Amato
What's Wrong: I have no words

Animal Instincts

Animal Print was huge last year and will continue to always be a hot trend, if done right. Here's a great way to make leopard print classy! Add a pop of red lipstick and bag, some great heels and you're ready!

Golden Globes: Best Dressed

Kate Hudson:
Designer: Alexander McQueen
The first words out of my mouth during her interview were "Holy Kate Hudson!" That girl is smokin'!!!! This McQueen gown is simply AMAZING, no more words necessary!

Jennifer Garner:
Designer: Vivienne Westwood
Wow, talking about ravishing in red! Hot mama! This Vivienne Westwood gown was not only the perfect shade of red but the sweetheart neckline and cinched waist made this an effortlessly chic best dressed nominee instantly!

 Miranda Kerr:
Designer: Zuhair Murad
Let's take a minute to all wish we could look like her! Wow! Sexy and classy! The ruching and cinched bow waist are very classy and awards worthy, the slit doesn't even need a mention. Love!!!!

Amy Adams:
Designer: Marchesa
Swoon! I mean, it is Marchesa, so of course it's perfect! This "ballet pink" as Amy calls it is perfect for her skin tone. And while it may not show up as well in pictures on TV it was breathtaking. The lace bodice and tulle fishtail were anything but unnoticed on the red carpet. And while she was one of the first to arrive, her dress made an impact to be talked about through the entire night.

Naomi Watts:
Designer: Zac Posen
Posen strikes again! If this deep berry red wasn't already enough to make you swoon the shape it gives her is amazing. I am loving the long sleeves and the added fishtail gave the extra oomph to make this a show stopper! Reminds me of the white Tom Ford gown that Gwyneth Paltrow wore to the Oscars last year.

Ryan Seacrest:
Designer: Burberry
I typically find myself complaining about Ryan ALWAYS being in Burberry, not that it's not a great designer! But just wish he would mix it up a bit. While his suits are typically more understated as he is the host of well, everything, this was a bold choice that made me stop and stare! The beautiful grey, with black lapel and bow tie were stunning! Always know its a fabulous suit when you can see the texture and quality of the material through pictures and TV! Bravo!

Golden Globes: Worst Dressed

Halle Berry:
Designer: Versace
Don't even know what to say about this gown. Props to her rockin' body at her age, but even the Angelina pose can't salvage this look! Only Donatella herself could get away with wearing this.

Lena Dunham:
Designer: Zac Posen
It makes me so sad to see that this is a Zac Posen design. He is one of my favorite designers and typically specializes in mermaid style, tight fitting gowns that are beyond stunning. This gown is all kinds of wrong on her figure and makes her look bigger. Also, if it were in yellow, it could be used for Belle's dress in Beauty and the Beast.

Taylor Swift:
Designer: Donna Karan
Taylor, you are 23, not 40! This gown is made for someone much older and mature than you! The high neckline and satin finish, that is in fact wrinkled, is all kinds of wrong. And let's not even get started on the hair. While I am glad she has grown out of the sparkle phase, I am disappointed in this look. I just want to see her in something younger and sexier!

Debra Messing:
Designer: Donna Karan
Let's just say black is not always slimming, and it kind of looks like a Chinese Lantern. Sorry, better luck next time! Makeup and jewelry is beautiful though!

Jessica Chastain:
Designer: Calvin Klein
Where do I start? You're Jessica Chastain! You have the power to get ANY gown you want, and you choose Calvin Klein!? While this color is great with her skin tone, it is a spring color....it's January. The top is not fitted correctly and makes her bust look weird and waiting for a wardrobe malfunction to happen at any moment. Should I even mention the hair? Ugh, all kinds of wrong!!!!
